KHRC Congratulates the State's Newest Certified Community Action Professionals

Four more members of the Kansas Community Action Network have earned the title of Certified Community Action Professional (CCAP).  Becoming a CCAP is a year-long process that includes the study of the history, vision and values of Community Action, the development of a executive skills portfolio and a rigorous written examination.  Earning the 2011 CCAP credential from Kansas are:  Susan Wheatley, Executive Director of Community Action, Inc., Linda Broyles, Deputy Director of Southeast Kansas Community Action, Jeanette Collier, Executive Director of Northeast Kansas Community Action and Joyce Stockham, Executive Director of Mid-Kansas Community Action. The 2011 Class of CCAP’s was recognized during the national Community Action Partnership’s Convention recently held in San Francisco.  If you would like to become certified as a CCAP, find out more about the process here.
