Twelve Agencies to Share Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Awards from KHRC

TOPEKA – Kansas families have a better shot at accessing quality, affordable housing thanks to $1.8 million in rental assistance from Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC). The funds, made possible through KHRC’s Tenant-Based Rental Assistance Program (TBRA), will be split between 12 non-profit organizations and public housing authorities across the state.

Governor proclaims October Energy Action Month and October 30th Weatherization Day in Kansas

TOPEKA – In honor of Energy Action Month and National Weatherization Day, Kansas Housing Resources Corporation (KHRC) is joining with Governor Jeff Colyer to promote the benefits of weatherization and invite eligible Kansans to apply for free weatherization services.
