Kansas Housing Resources Corporation is recruiting for a Housing Assistance Laborer.  KHRC is a public corporation that serves as the Kansas Housing Finance Agency.  KHRC is seeking a hard working individual who has at least general residential  building  knowledge and skills in housing construction and design. The person will assist state credentialed housing experts with tasks that focus upon energy efficiency. The tasks could include providing labor assistance for the Housing Specialist by setting up equipment, tools and instruments for determining energy efficiency needs of multifamily housing projects. The multifamily housing tasks are fulfilled through indoor and outdoor work on the housing unit.  The individual being sought for this position must have the ability to read and comprehend, ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, have above basic skills in math, the ability to read and record measurements, the physical ability to move in and out of small cramped spaces,  possess at least average computer application skills and have a valid driver’s license that allows for insurability.
